    The Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) invites candidates to apply for faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate and Full Professor level in the Department of Finance. All fields within finance will be considered.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for the Assistant Professorships should have obtained or be close to completing a PhD in finance or a related discipline and should document a strong research potential in financial economics. For senior positions a strong publication track record is expected.

    ABOUT NHH AND THE DEPARTMENT: NHH is a leading European business school located in Bergen with a strong research tradition. It is the top school for business students in Norway and has a unique relationship with the Norwegian business and financial community. The school has about 170 full-time faculty members and 3,500 students. The finance group, with its 15 faculty members, is strongly dedicated to research and publishes regularly in top journals. The department offers courses at the master and PhD levels, all taught in English. The teaching load is extremely low. Qualified candidates are eligible for matching salary grants from Norges Bank through its Norwegian Finance Initiative (NFI).
